What's New: Use IntelAgree in Your Preferred Language

Contract teams are stretched thin trying to collaborate across time zones, systems, and languages, often forced to work in software that wasn't built for the way they operate.

But it shouldn't matter whether your team sits in Boston or Berlin, Madrid or Montréal — your CLM platform should adapt to how your team works, not the other way around.

With the upcoming expansion of IntelAgree's multi-language capabilities in 2026.2.3, global teams can work together on the same agreements while each user experiences the platform in their preferred language.

It's the broadest expansion of IntelAgree yet, empowering users to work faster, collaborate more effectively, and stay focused on high-value work.

Here's how to set it up and what to expect:

True Localized Experience

Multi-language support is available at the individual user level, allowing each member of your organization to choose the language that works best for them.

A legal lead in Berlin, for example, can navigate IntelAgree in German while a contracts manager in Tampa uses the platform in English, all within the same IntelAgree environment and on the same agreements.

At launch, IntelAgree will be available in seven languages, with more available upon request:

  • English
  • German
  • Spanish
  • French
  • French (Canada)
  • Dutch
  • Portuguese

Localization extends throughout the platform, from user interface elements and system notifications to workflow experiences and AI-generated outputs from Saige Assist. Every user receives experience tailored to the way they work, without requiring separate deployments or regional instances.


How to Set Your Language

  • Navigate to your profile and open the Basic Info tab
  • Locate the Language dropdown
  • Select your preferred language from the list

Your Terminology, Everywhere

If you prefer the word “Agreement” instead of “Contract”, or use custom names for statuses, workflows, or business processes, you can configure those labels to match the way your team already works.

Paired with multi-language support, these custom labels can be translated and displayed in each user’s preferred language, so your terminology scales with your team instead of breaking when you cross borders.


Why This Matters

The most successful contract teams have both contract expertise and regional depth — people who understand the local regulations, the local business practices, the local counterparties, and still move in step with the rest of the company.

Many CLM platforms go "global" by being available everywhere. That's not the same as working for everyone, and it usually leaves those regional experts working around the software instead of in it. A contract operation only scales when every region, not just headquarters, can work in the system in its own language.
