"I'd get an email saying, 'Here's a contract that needs review,' followed by another, then another," McLean explained.  "After thousands of emails, I’d have so many flagged items that it was unmanageable.”

McLean found himself constantly searching through messages, trying to remember contract names and parties, with no clear visibility into what required immediate attention versus what could wait.

Once they approve it, the contract comes to me for legal review, and every step gets tracked," McLean said. "We've eliminated physical stamps and document scanning entirely. Everything's handled electronically."

Version control has become reliable and transparent, addressing a critical need in construction where contract modifications are common. "Every time we upload a new version, we have the complete history right there. It's perfect," McLean noted. Teams can now confidently work with current contract versions, eliminating the risk of executing outdated agreements.

Having a documented process with complete tracking at every step gives us the oversight we need," McLean said.
